Explanation of lyrics

"Sometimes I feel like my only friend Is the city I live in, the city of angels Lonely as I am, together we cry"  The loneliness is likely absence of God or anyone else from the light in his life.  Without someone to make the situation (trapped by satan) better, only sorrow remains so he cries.

"She sees my good deeds and she kisses me windy".  He knows he's really a good guy and does not deserve to be under satans power.

"I don't ever wanna feel, Like I did that day".  The day satan finally pulled him in under his power.  likely entailed blocking his breathing and filling his entire being with terror such that he will never disobey in the future for fear of experiencing it again.  This is coupled with the knowledge that you are no longer going to heaven when you die, but will be with satan eternally.  A really terrible day he would not like to relive,

"Take me to the place I love".  Take me away from this nightmare to where I was before ( where I loved).

"It's hard to believe that there's nobody out there, It's hard to believe that I'm all alone".  Aah now I understand.  There is sombody out there now.  It is me, Biodun Rotimi.  I have answered the phone, and I think everybody knows, we're moving on up.  By end of 2026 he should be gone.  I mean the rat satan.

"One time, Is where I drew some blood".   He shot heroin one time only was what it took to be pulled under satans power.

"I gave my life away".  When satan captures you, your life is no longer your own.  Eternity in heaven that was meant for you is no more.
